Paper Selections

In the show “Paper Selections” which was on exhibition from December 7, 2019 – January 25, 2020, paperworks by 14 international artistic positions were presented in Frankfurt am Main. The exhibition gave space to the exciting versatility of the artistic approach to the material paper. The selection of works spanned from reduced, minimalist positions to gestural drawings and expressive, more painterly works. “We appreciated the artistic ductus in many of the exhibited works on paper, but also gave space to interesting positions that took a very conceptual approach to the theme of paper,” said Heike Strelow and Kerstin Walter. The participating artists were Felix Becker (DE), Starsky Brines (VEN), Artjom Chepovetskyy (DE), Björn Drenkwitz (DE), Goekhan Erdogan (DE), Jonny Green (GBR), Florian Heinke (DE), Fabian Hub (DE), Ksenija Jovišević (SRB), Mathias Kessler (USA), Leslie Smith III (USA), José Vivenes (VEN), Herbert Warmuth (DE) and Hendrik Zimmer (DE)..
